VOICE Buffalo

VOICE's mission is to faithfully bring forth racial justice and equity in Western New York through political education and organized collective action. VOICE boldly imagines a society of diverse communities that are empowered, informed, active, and connected to one another, where all people have access to the resources they need to thrive and a voice in the decisions that affect them.

Campaigns

Through powerful campaigns, VOICE leaders organize people in smaller battles that bring about concrete changes, ultimately improving the lives of individuals and communities. These campaigns provide valuable opportunities to strengthen the foundation of our communities, nurture leadership development, shift world-views and policy to create a society that promotes healing and wellbeing.

"The struggle for Black Liberation is not just a political struggle, it is a spiritual struggle. We must have faith that we can overcome, that we can achieve our goals."

- Martin Sostre, a Puerto Rican political prisoner, activist, and Buffalo bookstore owner who played a significant role in the Black Liberation movement in the United States during the 1960s and 1970s

 Power The Movement

Youth Public Safety

Support our work to inspire, uplift, and educate the next generation of artists, journalists, and activists. Every dollar donated will directly support the work of VOICE's VIBE Committee to create loving spaces for youth and mitigate violence through policy and systems change.

Radical Love

Radically love our siblings and their families who have been harmed by mass incarceration by giving to our Radical Love Fund. These funds will go directly towards positively impacting the lives of people impacted by incarceration and the legal system as well as those around them.

Power The Movement

Donations made to this fund go towards general operations. General operating funds are powerful because they contribute to the stability and sustainability of the organization.  During times of crisis or uncertainty, having sufficient general operating funds are crucial.
