Accessibility Task Force

A devoted group of self advocates, parents and ally’s working collectively to build power for the directly impacted to assure that the Americans with Disability Act (ADA) is continually supported by business and government. The Accessibility Task Force (ADTF) is currently fighting to have the Regional Office of Persons with Developmental Disabilities moved from the former abusive institution building to a more accessible location. Buffalo Immigrant Leadership Team

The Buffalo Immigrant Leadership Team (BILT) is a Immigrant and Refugee lead initiative the focus on the betterment of the lives on New Americans. Currently, they are working on securing more funding for a state certifications for languages that represent the rapid growing immigrant community in Buffalo. To learn more, click here.

Criminal Justice Reform

The Criminal Justice Reform Task Force (CJTF) is led by Pastor Gerald Williams and Pastor Scott Johnson. The Task force is actively working on the Law Enforcement Assisted Diversion Program that helps give Police Officers a working support line to divert a potential arrest and get the individual connected to services. The CJTF is also working on creating community support of restorative justice by hosting community peace hubs sessions with our partnership and members. Economic Equity

The Economic Equity Initiative is broken into two groups; the Black Entrepreneurship Initiative and Banking Reform. The Black Entrepreneurship Initiative is a support and cooperative effort that supports businesses primarily on the east side of Buffalo. This initiative is currently being revised and updated. It will be re-released this Fall. The Banking Reform part of the initiative centers around our work with the Buffalo Niagara Community Reinvestment Coalition (BNCRC). This work is centered around bringing justice in an historically inequitable system. For more info, click here.

Voter Education

Voters Involved in Building Equity (VIBE) is our youth organizing arm that launched Spring of 2019. It is a leadership development program that teaches our youth leadership skills, voter education, political and organizing skills.
